The Infant CPR certification class covers infants up to 12 months. The Children CPR certification class covers ages 1 year to age 12. There is a combined Infant and Children CPR class for certification that is 4 ½ hours.

The Workplace classes are designed for a safer workplace. Included are first aid and emergency situations at a workplace. There is a 61/2 hour First Aid and Cpr Certification Class. This covers basic first Aid Cpr and AED. There is a 51/2-hour class also available without AED skills. There is also a 3 3/4 hour class for employers that only need CPR training and certification.

The Professional Rescuer courses are designed for those who are trained in emergency response related jobs and careers. These courses are designed for EMS workers, Law Enforcers, Nurses, Fire Fighters, lifeguards; emergency response teams flight attendants and anyone else whose career requires such training. CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer teaches the professional rescuer students to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants. It includes how to use an AED on an adult or child victim of cardiac arrest. This course also teaches how to use personal protective equipment to stop blood borne pathogens and other diseases from spreading. This course did not specify the amount of hours needed to get the certification.

There are also online course that are recognized and give CPR certification after the course is completed. Their Cpr Cards and Certification is good for 2 years. There are also online recertification courses for those who are already certified. You need to check with state requirements to see if they accept the online certification first if you plan to use the certification for professional purposes.
